Welcome to Buckets Ice Cream! We’re a small family-run shop specializing in liquid nitrogen ice cream. All of our ice cream is made in-house and made to order. We’re excited to join the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood and hope to see you soon!

Why liquid nitrogen?

Liquid Nitrogen is nitrogen in a liquid state at an extremely low temperature. It is a colourless, clear liquid with a boiling point of −195.79 °C.

Liquid nitrogen is so cold it creates ice cream much faster than conventional ice cream machines that churn. Because it freezes ice cream faster, it’s less likely that your cold treat will have those large pesky ice crystals that form when ice cream freezes in a machine resulting in a smoother, creamier texture. It’s not just a gimmick – there’s function!
