Jenny Beckmann is a youth and family counsellor who has been working in the helping field for over 10 years. She specializes in providing therapy for youth who have experienced trauma and at-risk youth and their families.

Nov 17: The Importance of Play

Practical strategies to foster connection with your kids (aged 5-12)

Sarah Dryden is a registered social worker who’s worked with families for over 10 years. She currently works as a child and youth mental health counsellor. In her free time, you’ll find Sarah playing pirates with her children, building forts in the forest and painting on canvases.

Nov 24: What’s the Deal with Attachment?

Understanding ways to connect with your kid (aged 5-12)

Kristina Dixon is a registered clinical counsellor with over 20 years working in the mental health field. Her work incorporates play and creative expression, emotionally focused therapy, attachment, and a family systems approach.

Dec 1: Infant & Child CPR – FULL (waitlist only)

Basic life saving CPR for infants and children (all ages)

Drisanna Chow is the CPR instructor for all health care staff at BC Children’s and Women’s hospital. She’s also an emergency-certified RN, an educator, and is currently a clinical instructor for the nursing program at Langara College.
